What’s the difference between XAMPP and LAMP?

XAMPP
(Apache web server, MySQL database, PHP, and Perl) is used as an environment for web developers working on any platform (including Linux, Mac OS, and Windows).

LAMP is an acronym for a model of web service solution stack consisting of
L – Linux
A – Apache HTTP Server
M – MySQL relational database management system
P – PHP programming language

Some of the considerations when deciding which one to install include:
